Robert A. Tino Gallery

Sevierville self-taught artist Robert Tino is known for his meshing of transparent watercolors and gouache (pronounced “gwash” – a little used opaque technique) to evoke the countless moods of this mountain eden. He also offers works in oil.

The Robert A. Tino Gallery is housed in the historic Riley H. Andes home, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. The home was constructed by African-American builder Lewis C. Buckner after the Civil War and features his signature scroll work wood trim.
